FALL CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH
AWANA CLUB
AWANA is a Bible based club for children founded on
the principles of 2 Timothy 2:15.
Approved Workmen Are Not
Ashamed
AWANA meets at Fall Creek Baptist
church on Wednesday nights, during the school year.
Club begins promptly at 6:30 PM and
ends at 8:00 PM. Club time is divided into three
30-minute segments.
-
Game
time: Every AWANA Club meeting
includes a high-energy game time featuring
individual and team competition. Game time
unleashes kids natural energy and enthusiasm.
The AWANA game circle has universal appeal. Kids
everywhere love AWANA games!
-
Handbook
time: Using achievement-oriented
curriculum materials, AWANA emphasizes
memorization and understanding of key Bible
verses. With a trained leader along side to
encourage and guide, the clubber develops a
Bible based view of how to know and serve God.
Clubbers are rewarded for their achievements as
they progress through the handbooks.
-
Council
time: The whole club gathers for a
Bible message, singing, and announcements of
upcoming events. One highlight of Council time
is the presentation of awards for individual
progress and team competition.
At AWANA, clubbers learn that God is
real, that he loves them and that he has expressed
that love through Jesus Christ.
The goal of AWANA clubs is to reach
boys and girls for Christ and to train them to serve
him. AWANA is distinctively Christian and Bible
centered. Of course AWANA Clubs does not exclude
kids based on their religious affiliation. The club
meetings are open to all.
